Two-Ops
Cloud ops for the team without a platform engineer.
What it does
AI-native context engine
Every action sees the full picture: topology, recent changes, anomalous metrics, and your team's runbooks. AI is the architecture, not a feature.
Detect → explain → act
Drift gets a PR. Over-provisioned VMs get a runbook with a sandboxed dry-run. Incidents get a remediation, validated before it ships.
Six categories, one tool
Observability, CSPM, cost, IaC drift, runbook automation, on-call. One audit log. One login. One vendor relationship.
Safety-first execution
Every generated change passes terraform validate. Every runbook runs in a sandboxed Azure Container Instance. Approval gates by default.
Hash-chained audit log
Every AI decision, every action, every approval — chained, signed, exportable for compliance review.
Priced for the middle market
Starter tier free, indefinitely, for two Azure subscriptions and 300 AI queries a month. No per-seat. No per-host.
What it is
TwoOps is one tool, six categories of cloud operations work — observability, cloud security posture management, cost optimization, IaC drift detection, runbook automation, on-call rotation — built for engineering teams running production on Azure who do not have a dedicated platform engineering org.
The shape of the product follows from a specific assumption: most teams between 10 and 500 engineers need every one of these capabilities, but the per-category enterprise tools were not designed for them. TwoOps is.
Why TwoOps
We priced the cloud ops stack we’d recommend to a paying customer. Five categories, the most-recommended tool in each, on real Azure spend for a small team. The total came to roughly $3,200/month — none of it unreasonable, all of it priced for a customer we weren’t. So we built TwoOps as the thing we wished existed when we sat down to operate our own infrastructure.
The full story — the pricing math, what AI-native architecture actually means, and how detect → explain → act is built — is in the launch post.
Who it’s for
Engineering leads at 10–500-person companies running production on Azure, without a dedicated platform team or a $40k/year tooling budget. Concretely: CTOs at Series A/B startups, VP Engineering at small public-sector consultancies, tech leads at mid-market SaaS companies that nobody has heard of but quietly do $30M ARR.
Teams with 20+ engineers dedicated to platform engineering will outgrow our shape — we’d rather be excellent for the team that has nobody than mediocre for the team that has twenty.
Status
Public beta opens Summer 2026. Starter tier — two Azure subscriptions, 300 AI queries/month — will be free, indefinitely.
Roadmap, in priority order: SOC 2 evidence pack, AWS support, runbook marketplace, GCP, more compliance frameworks. Roadmap weight follows paying-customer signal, not founder preference.

FAQ
- Which clouds does TwoOps support?
- Azure first. AWS and GCP are on the roadmap once we have signal from paying customers about which to prioritize.
- How is TwoOps different from Datadog, Wiz, or Spacelift?
- Those tools are excellent for the customer they were designed for: 200+ engineer organizations with platform teams. TwoOps is built for the team without one. Different price band, different shape, single tool instead of five.
- Is TwoOps open source?
- No. TwoOps is closed-source and commercial. The Starter tier is free indefinitely; paid tiers fund development.
- Who should not use TwoOps?
- Teams with 20+ engineers dedicated to platform engineering. They will outgrow our shape and should use the categorical leaders. We would rather be excellent for the team that has nobody than mediocre for the team that has twenty.
- What about compliance frameworks?
- TwoOps maintains a hash-chained, signed audit log of every AI decision and every action taken. SOC 2 and ISO 27001 evidence packs are on the roadmap. Until then, the audit log is exportable and review-friendly.
- What is the pricing?
- Starter is free indefinitely for two Azure subscriptions and 300 AI queries per month. Team and Business tiers add subscriptions, queries, and SSO. See twoops.ai for current numbers.
